West Texas ranch genre (landscapes). Choosing mediums of
pastels, oils, and bronzes, the west Texas pastoral artist
depicts cowboys, Hereford cattle, quarterhorses, Angora goats,
sheep, cactus flowers, and hill country homes and landscapes.
Also a series of paintings and prints stem from some trips to
the Holy Land area of Egypt, Jordan, Israel, and the
Sinai. Campbell's art has garnered many awards

As Campbell's
traditional oil and pastel paintings and bronzes of western
art have been more widely viewed, his collectors continue to
increase. The west Texas artist continues to do demos,
exhibitions, and some workshops of western art and landscapes
in pastels and oils. Campbell's limited edition prints
of pastoral landscapes of the Holy Land/Middle-east have been
very popular. The western artist has gained signature
status in: The Pastel Society of America, The
American Plains Artists, The Pastel Society of the West Coast, and
The Pastel Society of the Southwest.
