great deal of my life has been spent in the
saddle. There's been some great moments of splendor too numerous
to mention. On the other hand, braving the extreme weather,
windmill repair, patching fences, fixing water gaps, persevering the
droughts, calving in a blizzard, fighting prairie fires, and putting
away a faithful mount because of a broken leg pretty well summarizes the
trail of a cowboy. In spite of the trials, ranch life can be a very rewarding experience! My hope is that these paintings will convey the blessings which have been sent my way." |
